History and lore are very important to the members of the Jiin Clan in the Hidden Stone Village, specifically their history and lore. Young Jiin boys and girls are taught their history from a very early age. This is to instill a sense of honor and respect among the young. One of the most interesting stories is one titled "The Tale of Four Brothers" this story revolves around the lives of four brothers, whom are recognized as the founding members of the Jiin Clan. Before we begin this tale there are some things that need to be said. Although there is no proof, it is a widely accepted myth that the Jiin are descendants of a mighty phoenix and although the phoenix is considered to be the creator of the clan, he is not considered to be the leader. Itake Jiin would take the role as "Clan Leader and North Temple" and the age of 13.

Itake was the eldest of his brothers, though he was only older by his twin brothers by a couple of months. Still he was considered the eldest. Itake's skill and Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu were unmatched within his family and at the time, the Hidden Leaf Village. Itake's mother, Ai, was also said to be a bit of a prodigy when she was young, so it believed that it was only right that Itake be recognized as the most skillful out of his brothers. It is because of all this he was given the burden of leadership at a young age. A burden that he would proudly carry throughout his life. It is said that Itake to be the most passionate out of his brothers, not only for the love he had for his family and clan, but also women, especially women. Along with being recognized as one of the strongest shinobi of his generation, he was also notorious for being a womanizer. There are stories depicting his love for Uchiha women, these stories are however meant for another time. It is because of his passion that he was nick-named "The Phoenix of Passion"

Mosan and Keman are often times paired together, seeing how they are technically twins. Ayame was Mosan's mother and Kasumi was Keman's The irony here is that their mothers' are also twins. Although, strong and skillful in their own right, Mosan and Keman were not as strong as Itake. However, they were among the first Jiin to learn the art of "Fire Dancing", something that is still practiced today in the Jiin Clan. Fire Dancing is the ability to utilize fire jutsu and fire combinations without the use of hand seals. This ability shows its usefulness in the heat of combat. Mosan and Keman were both considered to be the most cheerful, and were never seen to be sad or depressed. Obliviously, since they were both born on the same day, within the same hour, and down to the same second, they were closest to each other than they were with their other brothers. Whenever Mosan was in a fight, rest assured Keman was not far behind. It Keman got in trouble for anything, Mosan would share the blame with him. Fighting these two in battle was said to be more of a threat to their enemies than Itake. Towards the end of their lives they have both earned the Nick-name "The Twin Flames". Mosan and Keman would also hold the titles West and East Temples, respectfully

Last, but certainly not least, we have the son of Rei (The Black Sheep), Usaso. Usaso was considered to be the odd ball of the family. He preferred to study combat than to actually partake in it. However, this doesn't been that he was weak by any means. He could hold his old in combat, easily. Usaso was born with unusual chakra nature, something that he most likely inherited from his mother. Unlike his brothers, whom all had fire chakra nature, Usaso was born with Ice, a combination of Wind and Water, and Fire. Although far from the strongest, Usaso is the most influential of his brothers. With is unique chakra natures he was able to form "Cold Flames" something that still to this day is very difficult to achieve within the Jiin Clan. Cold Flames are said to be so cold that they can cause burning. The feeling is described as constantly being burned and frozen at the same time. Aside from making this unique flame ability Usaso is also credited as the creator of all modern Jutsu that the Jiin use. He was the most thoughtful and strategic out of his brothers, often times serving as their advisor with great success. The Jiin and certain members of the Village Hidden in Stone would later refer to him as Usaso "The Genius" [818 words] - END
