Shadow looked on at the amazing development of the young man. It seemed as though his potential met expectations. It was then the one in which accompanied Asura had been distraught. She begged him to stop him. Shadow turned away from her at first. In his mind, he agreed that he was beginning to exceed the point of sanity. But, on the other hand, as an Uchiha; Shadow did not want to get involved in how the young man wanted to go about avenging his home.
“This is not my choice to make…” Shadow said to the girl.
“Lord Shadow…” Ayane began. Shadow cut his eyes at her. “At the rate he’s raging… he could lose control and kill innocence. You’re looking to recruit him, corrent? You know, that’s not what Gesshoku stands for…” she began. He rolled his eyes.
“Yea yea… very well… this is what I will do…” he said, as he makes a portal and jumps through, reappearing before Asura. The flames coming off of him enraged. They began to flare at him, but he lifted his hands, using his power to repel it. He then took some of this flame, bending it to his will and light a ring of fire around him, as it turns into black flames. The flames lift, forming a big barrier of blaze around the two.
“Listen… calm yourself… you are angry, and I understand. But, look at your friend. Look at her response to your rage.” Shadow looked up and saw Ayane now also with Brad and Christine, as Brad had a body over his shoulder. He nodded, and they disappeared from sight. He continued on. “Now, I’m not going to stop you. If this is how you want to avenge your people; do it. I encourage it. However…” Shadow paused. “Do so with a controlled mind and clear intentions. I will restrain you until you are focused enough to be able to make a logical decision, if I must…” Shadow said as the snakes had come from his sleeve and cloak…

The black flames of the Uchiha seemed to come out along with the snakes-- but one thing Shadow was possibly ignornat of-- was the Jiin could not be harmed or burned by the powers of fire. That included the Uchiha's legendary blaze style jutsu. The words of Shadow were deaf sadly to him as he tried to push through--

--he was prepared to try and strike him with a flaming fist till he heard her.

"STOP IT!"

Asura stopped at sight of her, rushing forward. Despite the risk of fire and snakes, hefear was not present in her mind as she took advantage of Shadow's attempt-- and threw herself at Asura.

The girl hugged him tightly, her arms around his neck and holding him, as if to comfort him. "Asura! Please stop! That's enough! " she pleaded, "It's over! It's over... please, stop..."

Between Shadow's words and Aki's tears... Asura's movements haulted and his facial expression changed. Despite the raging appearance he had, his hair as wild as fire and demeanor as feral-- his expression slowly became surprised. Finally, the light of his eyes faded-- and the Tengan transformed back to his regular red eyes as well... the aura of wrath that had once surrounded him was gone as he slowly slumped forward between the two, Ani catching him.

Asura huffed and gasped, feeling the strain to his chakra and energy. Even as the fires slowly burned around the temple, the danger was over for the moment as thanks to Asura and Shadow, the bandits were dispatched.

Shadow tilted his head to the side.
‘So… she’s his on and off switch…’ he began to think in his head. Shadow looked around at all the flames, as he lifted his hand. The flames from all around had begun to come at his hand like a vacuum and vanish into nothingness, leaving only smoke and a chaotic aftermath.
“Well… that was fun. Now, more than ever, young Asura… you need people to have your back. The offer I have given you still stands. With you as a Phoenix; and 2 people of your choosing at your side as your Lieutenants, and those 2 each have 2 of their own enforcers…your own squad of 7. Keep that in mind. This offer does have an expiration date on it. I got what I came for…” Shadow said, as he turned and began to walk away. “If you accept my proposal at a later date; you have one week to come to Beast Country.” With that, he began to walk before waiting for any possible last words or questions.

Aki had held on to Asura as the flames died away, from both Shadow's efforts and Asura's own calming down. The flames he created with his chakra soon burned out as his state changed. His head was pounding as he looked at the destruction around his home. And of all time, Shadow went to pitch his little offer again, also was accompanied by others as well. "Oh... would you just shut up..." he said groggily, wishing he had the strength to sock Shadow in the jaw.

Of course he didn't mean that -- but more important issues were afoot.

At that time, something came out from the darkened sky. A single hawk circled around the air and smoke, and soon landed upon the ground. As it bobbed its head for a moment, it then erupted in smoke-- to reveal in its place a man dressed in red robes and with black hair and a beard.

Asura's master-- Roku the Red Sage! He stood there firm and with a tense demeanor. "I came as soon as I heard. What happened?!" Roku demanded, and soon saw SHadow and his men. He reached for his sword, worried they were part of the intruders.

"M-Master Roku. These strangers helped us. Asura and them repelled the bandits that tried to attack the estate," Aki quickly explained, defending Shadow for the time being.

Roku looked and saw Asura, his spent state as well as the condition he dealt to the bandits around them. Many of which were dead, but some still alive. They could get some information out of them perhaps.

Shadow shrugged. Just then, the other man appeared before them. He began to draw his sword, and usually, Shadow would stay to respond to this form of a challenge and egg it on; but he had expired entirely too much chakra.
“Hmph…” he then, without more than another glance, he vanished into thin air, back to Gesshoku Village…

As Shadow and his crew left, Asura leered at them, as did Roku. Still there were more issues going on right now. The attack against their clan caused Roku's expression to have a stern, restrained fury to his eyes as his black hair against the night air almost seem to radiate-- as if his whole form would burst into flames from his contained anger-- unlike Asura being quick to react as he did.

"What... Happened here?" he growled.

Aki knew Roku was not mad at them, but his fury was understandable. As other clan members slowly made their way to them, they explained what happened. "Bandits attacked us and began to set fire to our homes. They just came out of nowhere!" Aki explained.

Roku looked shocked by this. Asura was a bit out of it to truly assess Roku's responce, but he could only imagine how angry he was. "Do we have any of the bandits alive?" he asked.

"I think a couple are, Roku," One of the Jiin clan said, finding one of them still face down in the cold earth.

Roku closed his eyes for a moment, calming the whirlwind of thoughts-- then looked to Asura, still held up by Aki as she held on to him. He was glad his clan was still safe with no true deaths to them. Had his student been killed, his heart would of broken in a way it had not since a long time.

For now, it was time to assess what happened, and apprehend the thieves where they could. In time, Asura would recover and further they would get the answers they sought. But for now... t he night was over as they began to work to put the fires out...

... however, eslewhere within Iwa, a figure observed the events that happened. he stood there in silence, a displeased expression on his face. Still, he was calm as he soon saw events unfold.

All things will come in time, he thought, his eyes fixed on one person in particular.

Asura...
