Late Night Studying (Training Nexus STat X 7)

The flame flickered in the dark of his room as Asura was deep in his studies. He had trained physically with both Ravana and Roku-- his muscles and limbs spent. He felt weak, exhausted. A stack of snacks were nearby as he rested in his bead. The covers were a mess and he had objects all over his room. Typical of any teenage boy.

But he wasn't slacking off. Despite the exhaustion and tiring of his body, he was busy reading the scrolls that were out before him. Despite sleep dragging at his eyes, Asura read the scrolls before him. He realized while his skill in Taijutsu was one of his better areas, he didn't want to neglect application of Ninjutsu as well. Genjutsu was still his weakest area but he was the type to focus his strengths far more than just his weaknesses.

He had gathered several fire style jutsu and the general history if shinobi he could find. He still absorbed what he read, fascinated by the legends of the shinobi as well as the techniques he read, eager to try it when he had the energy to do so. His last images were the text of the scroll near his eyes as he fell asleep, losing what energy he had and passing out.

He fell asleep with the scrolls wrapped around him as the door to his room creaked open. Inside the crack was Roku, checking in on him. Seeing as how he had been reading and now asleep, he smiled pleased and closed the door, letting him rest.
