The sun had been high in the sky. It had been bright. The young man felt the joy around himself. His brother, sister, Genshin, Ayane, Yukimura… all that mattered in the slightest had been there. They were cheering for him. What did he do? Why was he here, being praised? Better yet… why was he surrounded by Sand? The Sand Village? This had to be a dream. There had only been when time he ever felt this good, and it was when he had became a Genin and earned his Lydeck Sword. Hayabusa smiled, though. And then, that smile turned into a glow.
“Mother?” he said, in such an echo. She smiled and worded ‘I’m proud of you.’ Hayabusa began to run into her arms before the sun quickly became dark. The ground before Hayabusa split, as the claw of an oversized monster claimed the land on both sides. It came up to reveal to be the Bijuu Shukaku. He came up, laughing hysterically. Hayabusa reached out his hands.
“NOOOOO!” he yelled. The Shukaku looked at his mother on one side, before smashing his tail on her. She evaporated. He looked at Hayabusa, laughing hysterically.
“Now… for you…” he said. His oversized tail came over him, smashing down onto his body.
Hayabusa awoke, shooting up in his bed. It had been a nightmare. He forced himself to wake up almost. Something told him his body wanted him to finish it, but Hayabusa refused to. He went to the bathroom and splashed some water on his face before looking in the mirror. This nightmare triggered the Sharingan. But, Hayabusa had less drain in its use. He felt it to be more powerful. How, he did not quite know. They were strained, but felt fluent. He closed his eyes, opening them back to reveal his dark green eyes. Hayabusa shook his head, as he went back to bed, to wake up in the morning to ask Genshin about the powers that his eyes may possess.
Not much was revealed of this conversation, other than that now his eye should be able to put people under a hypnosis, which he planned on trying the first chance he could. His eye was what Genshin called ‘Fully Awakened’. He could go as far as controlling the Bijuu, Kyuubi. He could even reverse Genjutsu. Hayabusa was clueless as to how powerful this power had been. And now, he had reached a potential that wasn’t even of the highest. Hayabusa smirked. With this, he had the confidence to become Jounin. He figured now would be the time to do that. Now, would be the time to lead…
