Chapter 1: The Missing Element [Lava Release/Nexus Attributes]

Exposition:

At now around 10 the Sun came over the valley illuminating the Lush green forest and emerald green lake. The sound of the roaring waterfall and and flowing river sung in harmony with the chirping of the birds and the rustling of the mammals who lived in the surrounding forest. Everything about the area spoke peace, even the moss growing underneath a rock. Heise looked up as he noticed a deer run through the river. His eye turned towards the forest from which the deer came and wondered if he was being chase. A rustling came from the forest and Heise prepared himself with a kunai. in case the deer was being chase he would be ready to kill whatever was following it. But to his surprise, three baby deer came. Heise couldn’t help but smile as he dropped the kunai back into his pouch.

“You take that protecter stuff to literal.” Wukong said with a hearty laugh as he chewed on a banana. Heise gave Wukong a stale face and pushed Wukong into the waters. Heise then fell on his back laughing at his partner’s gullible nature.
“How about you go eat a banana like Asura said” Heise joked noting at the child who’d made an impression on both he and Wukong. Wukong rose from the water soaked and growled. But he didn’t retort, he would get his pay back… later. He thought to himself.
“So Wukong, tell me about that other sage!” Heise persisted as he began to set up his own fire for the fish he had just caught. Wukong walked back towards the land and moved the sticks from Heise’s hand.
“One, You know better than to make a fire on this land. 2, Why don’t you drop it Heise? I thought I told you there is no other sage!” Wukong lectured back. Heise muttered something his breathe. Wukong breathed in a heavy breathe of air as he was tempted to retort back to the boy but he didn’t. Heise closed his eyes and held the fish in his hand. He would then pucker his lips and breathe a small flame onto the fish.
“AAAH! There we go a nice well cooked-“ Heise began as he slowly brought the fish to his mouth. But he didn’t finish as the fished was snatched away from his hand. Heise would end up bitting on his own hand and cried out in pain.
“WHAT THE HELL!?!” Heise yelled as he watched Wukong eat his fish. Wukong grinned and smiled.
“There was no Banana’s around” Wukong said. Heise turned his head and noticed an array of both fruits and vegetables growing around the lush green cave. Heise then turned back to Wukong and rolled his right sleeve.
“You monkey! I’ll show you!”
“Show him what?” A deep voice said behind Heise.
“Aww Shit…” Heise said to himself. Behind him stood a monkey taller that Wukong at about 7’0 with the same brown skin but white hair. Heise slowly turned around to face Enma a brutish monkey with a mighty muscular structure.
“Monkey King Enma!” Heise shouted with both his hands raised as a sign of peace, “I see you didn’t miss leg day!” He said. It was the smart mouth of his that would land Heise face first into the ground.

Monkey King Enma was a rather difficult individual in Heise’s life. Emma had been the partner to the Third Hokage just as Wukong is to Heise. It was through that relationship that Enma attained his stubborn and unwavering personality. Heise rarely argued with Enma, because Enma would always win. And even if Enma knew he was wrong, Enma would simply beat up Heise till he was correct.
“Why are you back so soon?” Emma asked as he shared the fish with Wukong. Heise’s stomached growled as he watched the two monkey’s devour the meal he’d prepared for himself.
“You know Heise you outta not use your chakra to cook the fish.” Wukong chimed in after Enma. Heise sulked and muttered ‘i hate you both’ as he turned and looked at the great Water curtain cave. Suddenly hungry escaped his mind and his thought of the other sage flushed back in. He turned around and stared directly at Enma.
“Is there another Monkey sage?” Heise asked. Emma coughed up a boned surprised from the question and shot a look at Wukong. He turned away and crossed his arms as if not wanting to be bothered with the situation.
“Wukong?” Enma question.
“Don’t Wukong Me. It slipped out. And you know how the kid gets when he’s curious. He’s like a fucking mouse attracted to cheese. Once he smells it he just keeps going.” Wukong defended. Heise grinned knowing know he would finally got the answer he wanted.
“It’s unimportant Heise. Don’t concern yourself with it.” Emma said without missing a heartbeat. A heavy undertone came across with Enma’s response as a warning for Heise. It would not end well for him. But Heise was determined, he wasn’t backing down this time. If there was another Sage, he would want to train with him.
“Tell me!” Heise shouted.
“Aww shit” Wukong said turning away completely now. Emma stood up tall dropping his cloak from his body. Heise stood up and walked directly in front of him. Wukong looked at the ground and watched as it crackled with both of them showing their chakra pressures. While Wukong was physically stronger than Heise, Heise’s spiritual energy surpassed anyone he’s ever met, except Enma. Both were now showing their guts to each other. It came to the point where Enma began growling lowly, but Heise didn’t back down.

Finally things began to return to Normal but both still stood their.
“Fine. If you want to know, speak with the Elder inside the cave” Enma said as he put his cloak back on. Heise grinned and smiled. He looked at Wukong and flashed another grin.
‘That’s how you out argue the monkey.’ His grin said.
“But be warned Heise. What you learn may not be as lighthearted as you hope” Enma said ruining the moment. Wukong flashed a grin right back at Heise.
‘Told you kid.’ Wukong’s message said.
