Chapter 1: The Missing Element [Lava Release Training & Nexus Training]

Heise & Mood:

The sun peaked over the Shullian cave around seven a.m illuminating the Emerald Moss Piled in heaps of blue. The clouds drifting like jade did nothing to block the sun to the flowers growing on the smooth bench. All over the valley exotic blooms aroused. On a plane out in the field was an open stretch of lush green grass were two individuals stood on either side of the plane. On the Left, was a boy about 19 years old with dark brown hair (black in certain times of the day or light), with one bang of hair falling across the right of his head while the rest of his hair made a spiky formation in the back. He was a rather charismatic character, with a smile flashing across his face as he got into his fighting stance and focused on the other individual. On the Right side of the field wasn’t a monkey who stood upright perfectly balanced. His skin was mostly brown with the exception of his face and hair, which were both white as ice. His teeth were feral still protruding from his face. He to was just as charismatic as the boy on the left grinning while jumped on top of the staff.
“So Heise,” The monkey beast spoke, “Let’s see how well your training has gone.”
The boy laughed as he closed his eyes. ‘Concentrate’ He said so himself. His own brown hair extended now from his shoulders to his waist and the bang on the right side of his head extended to beginnings of his chest. Upon his face, an elaborate red tribal visual appeared no his face. When the boy opened his eyes, the monkey noticed they were no longer the hazel brown. They were now a fierce red.
“You’ve done it?” The Monkey asked. Heise rolled his eyes. He hated when he asked vague questions.
“If you’re asking if I’ve managed to balance all 3 natures in my chakra, then yes, Yes i have Wukong” Heise replied grinning from ear to ear. Heise had been working on mastering the skill that Wukong had been teaching him for close to two months. On more often occasion Heise would being to take on beast like effects when using the skill but on this day, his execution had been flawless.
“I see,” Wukong began, “Now let’s practice the next style” Wukong said as he jumped of his staff. He would then proceed to run after Heise and shoot multiple jabs with his free left fist.
To him, things were different. Heise could now feel everything. It also seemed as though everything was in slow motion compared to before. Heise watched as the 4 punches were now coming at him. He simply stopped each on with his right hand, on the fourth he caught the fist of the Monkey and grinned in his face. These tricks wouldn’t work on him anymore.
“You’re going to have to do better than that Wukong, The Monkey Prince” Heise taunted. Wukong growled a bit but using his right hand, swung his staff and aimed at Heise’s head. Heise raised his left and caught the staff before it would touch his face, although Heise could feel the sting of Wukong’s attack. He was now using the sage Chakra as well.
“You forget whose the Master and Whose the Student boy,” Wukong said as he believe a quick Knee to Heise’s stomach. Heise was unable to catch that attack in time and was sent flying back. Heise remembered, once it came to raw power, Wukong easily outclassed Heise. He slowly stood up not taking his eyes off the Monkey Prince.
“You feeling this one?” Wukong said taunting him as he threw his staff to the side and got into a Taijutsu fighting stance. He gripped his gloves and got into the same stance parallel to his partner.
“Yeah, Let’s go” Heise shouted with enthusiasm. The two would go on to exchange blows for the next thirty minutes till they tire their natural energy reserves.

Heise lay with his back on the blush green grass breathing heavily with his arms stretched. He turned his head to the Monkey who was resting himself against a tree also breathing heavily.
“God Damnit you’re one tough cookie” Heise said with laughter. He coughed a bit struggling to get air into his lungs.
“You’re not so bad your self kid.” Wukong joked as he got up and stretched. He then walked over to Heise who was laying on the floor.
“Get up I have something to show you.” He said. Immediately, Heise sat upright and was attentive. When it came to training and new jutsu, Heise was always ready. Wukong sat with his legs crossed and raised up both his hands. Heise using his nature energy immediately began to see what was going on. It was a process Heise did all the time. Wukong was splitting his chakra into either side of his hand. In his left hand Wukong managed to get a ball of fire, in his right hand s spear of pure rock.
“Now, you see that I have two nature manipulations here. To get your lava release, You have to fuse the two natures you see here.” Wukong said as he brought both his hands together to form a ball of lava floating above his Hand. Heise was already familiar with nature combination. It was through Nature combination that Heise was able to perform skills like his Mouton Dragon.
Now most ninja would have given up when it came to nature manipulation. To formulate chakra into one element was already difficult, let alone master the Element. But to master three basic nature manipulations required some discipline. Not only that,by simultaneously, using the elements together would be difficult. In actuality, Heise had mastered five elements before he started working on the lava release. So his skill range was a bit wide.
Which is why now, when Heise began to focus his earth and fire chakra together, the skill was so easy to him. Just like that Heise created a ball of lava floating above his hand. Wukong raised his eyebrows to his student impressed.
“You’re gifted, Just like the other one.” Wukong said. Heise smiled then paused as Wukong’s words caught his ear.
“Other one?” Heise asked. The ball of lava fell to the grown and immediately cooled turning into obsidian.Wukong placed his hands on his face knowing he’d had messed up.
“God they’re going to kill me.” He muttered to himself, “Just forget about it okay Heise?” Wukong said. Heise shook his head as he stood up. He was now determined to know what Wukong was talking about.
“What other one?” Heise asked now persisting. Wukong sighed and looked up at the sun for a moment. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to feel the warmth.
“It’s best you speak with the elders about this.” Wukong said standing up.
