Enemy:
O Health Pts: 1/525 [525]
O Chakra Gauge: 1018/3348
O Stamina Gauge: 980/1709

Reaction: Defend-- weakened and defeated.

The sudden charge became a giant twister of destruction-- drawn only by the shinobi's physical power. The swordsman's eyes widened as he saw the incoming attack. It was too fast and too big to evade or parry. He had no choice but to raise his sword to brace the blow!

The Raging Tiger Drill struck right on point and met with a ear-splitting shriek of metal on metal. The force of Asura's spin, chakra blade against the enemy's, rang out through the jungle as the two clashed. Even as they met, the force of the Tiger Drill kept on pouring away against him. The swordsman held his ground but was already skidding. His face was tight in agony and focus to hold his ground but it was useless.

The Tiger Drill struck and after no more than a couple seconds--- the sword of the enemy shattered-- leaving Asura to pour right into him.

A massive impact went off like an explosion and ripped across the dried up earth of the quarry. Workers scattered as dust and earth was kicked up. The damage from the Tiger Drill was stronger than anyone could of thought Taijutsu alone could accomplish. As the dust still lingered, the swordsman was flat on the ground, his sword broken and his hilt now tossed aside from the blow.

His body ached and blood dripped from this forehead after he took a blow to the head. Cuts lashed across his arms that blocked the blow, but he still felt weak. The smoke still lingered as he opened his eyes and attempted to get up...

... till he saw Asura on top of him, his chakra blade poised at his throat. The glowing chakra tip was an inch away from his brow.

The swordsman's breath hitched at the thought that Asura was about to deliver the final blow. "I lost... finish it..."

Asura glared down at him with a firm, motionless gaze. No emotion showed on his face, except for a momentary flicker of his eye. His arm held up higher and came down---

CKRIT!

... The blade punctured the ground below, landing a few inches away from the swordsman's head. Now it was the swordsman whose eyes were wide at what he saw.

"You're right, you lost... but taking your life is of no interest to me," Asura said and drew back up his blade. The glow of the chakra faded away and he sheathed his weapon. "Consider this a warning, should you dare aid people to attack my home."

The swordsman said nothing in silence, lying there with his injuries.

CLick.

The series of clicks soon began to come to Asura's ears as he looked up and the smoke lifted. The foreman now held guns-- rifles by the looks of them, meant to hunt animals in the wild. Six of them were armed, and aimed it at Asura. Though worrysome, Asura kept calm and rose up tall to face the men.

"Seems our hired swordsman was of little use to us after all. At least we came prepared regardless," The foreman spoke up, and smirked in Asura's direction. "You must be pretty stupid that one SHinobi can stop us.

"You'd be suprised what one Shiobi can do, pal..." Asura growled as he looked around. He could of blown them all away in a moment with his remaining chakra... but he still felt conflicted to truly kill them all. "This jungle doesn't belong to you. I am here on behalf of the denizens of this jungle... and you are the ones trespassing. Leave now, or face the consequences."

The foreman listened in silence for a bit, but then scoffed at the young shinobi. "Haha... bold words, but this land is uninhabited. Nothing here but wild beasts. The only person I see is a certain red-headed whiny bitch who thinks he is bigger than his britches." the man said. "So where are these people your talking about?"

At first, Asura's senses were on high alert to react to any such shot by the men around him-- till he heard something else.

"Actually, its not me you should be worried about right now," Asura commented now with a smile. Slowly he raised a hand and pointed back to the jungle.

As the men slowly drew their attention to the trees, they saw them. tHe shadows of creatures draw out from the jungle. The soft sounds of growls echoed-- and soon revealed to be many growls. One by one they appeared--- Tigers of the Blood Vale Jungles. AMong them was Taimaru, dawned in his armor, CHigatsumi and Bloody Mist on the branches of the trees, and other fearsome looking cats that Asura had seen around. With them, he was an ally and never was threatened by them.

... To outsiders, that was a different story.

Sweat and hesitation was clear on the foreman and his workers' faces. A smirk escaped Asura as he soon moved-- becoming a blur of speed and reappeared in front of the mob of tigers that slowly stalked out of the jungle. His presence halted their advance as they kept their gaze on the intruders.

"Like I said, this jungle belongs to them, not you," Asura replied and smirked in their direction. "So don't come back, or we will kill you all..."

The snarls of the tigers and clear threat, finally sunk in to the men and soon they began to turn to leave. Some outright ran and others hesitantly backed away. The foreman however, just sneered at Asura. However, eventually he too left. "This isn't over kid! Just you wait!"

As the last of the humans fled, the tiger's air of carnage began to fade and soon they let out roars of cheer!

"Good Job, Asura," Taiyoumaru growled, pleased. "Boss Byakko will be happy to learn this."

A smile showed on Asura as he watched the humans return to Dance Country, where they came from. Though as they left, including the swordsman, Asura felt a sense of relief that he did his part and knew another such time would come when he would have to do this again...

End of Thread.
