Inshitsu burst through the wall of trees that was next to the cave that he had started to call his home. He sprinted passed it, ignoring the chirping that was erupting from the inner dome of the cave. He ran down the dirt path attempting to get back to the village to get to his home. He arrived at the edge of the village when pains started to arrive in his body. He ignored as he kept sprinting to go home. He arrived at his door and twisted the knob, ripping the door open. He ran up the stairs to get his clothes switched into a new pair. He jumped down the stairs, pulling a shirt over his head. He shut the door behind him as he resumed sprinting with his new destination became his girlfriend’s home. ‘She should be awake. I got one shot,’ Inshitsu’s breathing relaxed with that thought being the lone thing calming him down tonight. He ran through the marketplace, nodding hello to a police officer as he bolted past the woman. He arrived at the front door with her family room light still on. He did three light knocks on the door, hoping that he could endure the lecture that he was about to receive from his girlfriend as he witnessed her face giving him a dirty look.
