Fugaku, behind the mask, looked down at his pre-teen son. At the moment he became level headed, no matter how angry he had been. He smiled behind the mask.
“Well done…” he said lowly. As the fireball came his way. He performed his own seals, throwing flames encasing shuriken toward the fireball. They collided, evaporating each other, however, the shuriken had continued on, hurdling at the boy.

Shizou looked at the oncoming shuriken, as he ran toward them, counter with his own thrown kunai. He jumped over one. As he jumped in the air, twirling, he extended his right leg, attempting to kick the man vertically, following through with a slash of his katana, continuing his momentum all the way through.

As the boy’s foot came down, Fugaku had been caught well off guard, not familiar with the fighting style that Shizou displayed. Therefore, he had been kicked in the shoulder. He bent low, and as he came up to meet the katana, he lifted his short blade, deflecting the katana. He then afterwards, attempted to plant his knee into the boy’s gut.

Shizou, saw the force of the man’s gut coming at him. Yet, he did not move out of the way. He instead, figured he would take a hfor a hit, thrusting his palm towards the man’s mask. With that, he felt the knee in his gut. Coughing up a little bit of blood, staggering back some, grasping at his stomach. He looked up hoping that he could take a look at his mother’s killer…

Fugaku, to his surprise, was yet again caught off guard. His son took the hit, all with the aim of destroying his mask. And he did just that, as the mask shattered, leaving shards of clay in his skin. Blood began to fall down his face. He looked up, facing his son, with his own Fully Awakened Sharingan, as he sent a story-telling Genjutsu his way, showing the occurrence of what happened before his son arrived, and how this was his mother’s plan; leaving him the remainder of the medicine…

Shizou looked up, with surprise.
“Fa… father… why?” he began, before he looked into those eyes. He then fell into such a slumber, as if his body was shut down. He then, fifteen seconds later, looked up, with strained eyes now in his Fully Awakened Sharingan form, for the first time ever. It was then that he stood up straight looking straight at his father. He clenched his fist, before looking at his mother’s lifeless body on the floor. A tear fell from his eye, as he then turned, and walked away from the battle…
