Spring settled in just as quickly as an unwelcomed prostitute. Yukimura had recently arrived in the beast country with new found knowledge of himself, his past, but above all his family. The western winds flowed through the lock of his dark brown hair and pushed against the red-shaded skin of his. His mind battled against itself to steer clear of thinking about the events that conspired in Konoha, but excitement held the best of him.
His mind paced back to when he first arrived in Konoha. It wasn’t as difficult as he thought, it was quite simply for any Konoha ninja to infiltrate without being detected. He had arrived in the sector which he had come to call home. The house was made from the wood of a chestnut tree with traces of Mahogany wood around. His hands gripped the wooden handle of the door and turned the knob clockwise and pushed forward. A warm air from the home and enticed him to enter. A fragrance of baked apple pies caressed his nose. Yukimura strung by a flood of memories stepped into the house and shut the door behind him.
He moved forward in the house with his dangling behind him feeling against the walls of his home. He came to what use to be the living room in front of him. Two small boys appeared from seemingly nowhere where playing. Behind followed a man in his early twenties who stopped and turned facing Yukimura.
“In my house?” He questioned. Yukimura stepped aside and saw two other shadowed figures. His eyes then reverted back to the children who stopped their playing and where now engaged in the conversation.
“Toshima it’s time.” One of the Shadow figures said. The young man turned to the kids then to Yukimira.
“Your not suppose to be here” A warm voice said. Yukimura turned his head to find a woman in her mid-sixties. He turned his head and the other people in the room where gone.
“Granny Akima” Yukimura said. The woman with white hair dropped her bags then moved over to Yukimira. Her right hand gently came into contact with his cheeks.
“It’s you… you’re alive” She said. Tears began to well in her face. He free hand covered her gaping mouth. She dropped her hands and embraced him. She was warmer than he expected. He wrapped his arms around her and returned the love and affection. The moved to a room in the house and she brewed a tea for him.
“Your father would have been proud to see the way you’ve grown” She said as she poured the Tea into a small cup. Yukimura bowed respectfully and sipped from the tea. But he remained silent.
“When your father died, I swore to protect you and your brother” She continued.
“You did a good job grandmother” Yukimura replied with a smiled.
“You and Your Brother where the brightest things that academy has ever received. It’s ashamed your brother left.”
“Grandma He’s dead.” Yukimura replied. She let out a small little laugh. It was the first time she had laughed since they commenced their conversation.
“The only people truly dead is your mother and father” She began, “You can thank your Uncles and Cousins for that”.
Yukimura raised his eyebrows in confusion. He stood and his grandmother motioned for him to sit.
“The Senju don’t die from wild animals Yukimura” Everyone knew the story. His brother had been mauled apart by a pack of wolves. Savages who didn’t leave a scrap of life.
“Then what Killed him?” Yukimura asked. She let out yet another laugh.
“Your brother isn’t Dead.” She replied. “Neither is the rest of your. Clan”
“Yo Yuki, Let’s Go!” A voice said behind him. Yukimura stood and turned to realize he was back in reality. “I can’t drown myself in my problems” he said to himself. “The affairs of beast country must come first” He said as he began to make his way back to the village with a friend. He arrived in the village in record time and decided to investigate around. He had never really walked around the village.
