The Meetings of the Lone Wolves (Challenge against HOukou Battle)

"To get a Howling experience. " Asura cracked-- but it seemed the wolf didn't care for jokes and was only making things worse as it tracked sound. It was about time it started to engage a bit. The words came short as Houkou lunged to attack.

However, Asura was already ready as he gripped the handle part of his weapon-- the Soul Tiger Claws. They glowed with his soul energy and chakra-- something that Houkou couldn't see behind him. Still, Asura took action. "Sacred Tiger Claws!" he declared, spun and swiped. With a twist and spin, Asura lunged into the void his claws tore through the area-- and closed just as Houkou landed his attack.

The crash was loud and more smoke was kicked up-- but no doubt it would confuse Houkou as not only Asura was gone, but all traces of his scent was as well. Time-space ninjutsu sure was a pain, and this was far more different than Hayabusa's method was. If Houkou had any knowledge of it, this was one he was not familiar with.

On the far side of the tree's inside, a tear opened up again. Asura landed soundlessly upon the ground in a crouch. Already a bit of sweat began to drip from his brow at the speed of Houkou's attack. As much as he wanted to crack jokes, the wolf's speed was something fierce. If he wasn't careful, he would get hammered.

Looks like i thought right using these guys... he thought as he pulled out a scroll from his pack, and opened it-- revealing two summoning seals. Opening it out and holding it with his foot, he took both hands and bit the tips of his thumbs. Blood pooled at the tips as he smeared it over it.

"My, what big ears you have!" Asura called. The tease was followed by Asura placing both hands on the two circles. "SUMMONING JUTSU!"

A bang of smoke erupted across the room. Even with Houkou's speed, it would take him a bit of time to get there-- and now the fight had changed.

"Hmm... well you really stepped into it this time, haven't you Asura?" a voice growled from the smoke. "A wolf of all things."

"Yeah, I think I smell it on his feet. He really stepped into wolf shit this time, brother," another voice said, equally mocking and equally smug. "Maybe we should get out of here."

"Naw, we do that and he will never pay us." the first said.

Asura bit his lip-- always reminded how much he hated this pair.

"Well thats a good point. Besides, life would be boring without him." the second said.

The smoke soon cleared-- revealing a pair of two were-tigers. Both clad in shinobi garb and mufflers but with lightly different tones of black/violet fur. One, Kagetsumi sported a pair of chained kusarigama in his paws. While the other held a short katana in hand, now both on either side of Asura.

"Hey, Tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb? Mind if we keep our focus on the enemy. Trust me, we will need it." Asura grumbled.

The Rakshasa Brothers: Bloody Mist and Chigatsumi : A Rank. (Scroll)

Both cunning and devious, these two tigers stand out among the others of the Blood Mist Jungle. Unlike many of their peers, they take on more humanoid appearances, standing on two legs but still upholding their tiger like features. Both are dressed and armed as Shinobi, trained in many of their arts. They also have shades of black/dark violet fur with stripes on their bodies. They also wear different color scarves. The two brothers are twins, sharing many traits between them and both enjoy working together, with the occasional competitions between one another. Whether its battle or social events, the two cause trouble wherever they go. The two specialize in stealth and subterfuge tactics, making one of the Tiger tribe's most dangerous warriors.
Summons: 2 B Class Summons.
Chakra Cost: -55% (25% off costs for custom summon= -30% Chakra)

Effect:   2 Summons with  +100 of Character Base Attributes

Summon Details and Jutsu:

With Kagetsumi and Chigatsumi on his side, his odds of dodging his attacks and counter attacking were raised. Alone he wasn't as fast but with those two they could do more. If he could just tolerate their heckling.

"Let's put the age old question to the test, " Chigatsumi asked as he gripped his blade. "Right Brother?"

"Which is better-- cats or dogs." Kagetsumi smirked to mock Houkou even more.

The smell of few more figures started to appear. Lifting its head into the air it began smelling the air carefully turning its noses up. ”Eh, seems you have invited some help for you to do battle, then you speak to me of honor…” Roaring once more into the air to clear the smoke around the area. Gobi to a step onto the root of the large tree. Staring down the enemies in front of it with a killing intent glare at them.

Thinking from the way the figure acted and then with these felines it would be safe to say, ”I see so this is where that uncontrolled speaking comes from.” Gobi returned into its pouncing stated once more launching forward with its weight and crushing paws aiming at the targets but soon began to spin with it using its tails aiming at the summons. ”Five Tail Lashing!”

"Damn, doggy is fast..." Kagetsumi growled with a bit of nervousness. The wolf's tails were soon aimed to take a strike out of the two of them. Even Asura was surprised. When it came to summoning, the smart idea was to target the caster that brought them there-- but the wolf figure 'get these two chuckle heads out of the way' first. Luckily for him, he prided Kagetsumi and Chigatsumi for their ingenuity.

With a smirk, Chigatsumi tossed something to his brother. A couple of his smoke bombs-- normally used for his own jutsu. Their strength opposes to many summons, were their hardcore use of ninjutsu and bukujutsu.

Chigatsumi soon wove hand signs-- quickly taking action to avoid an otherwise fatal-incoming strike. "Sorry, puppy. Time to go." He ended the hand sign just as the tail was about to swipe-- poof. Chigatsumi and Kagetsumi was gone in a puff of smoke. It was similar to the summoning jutsu as it swapped places of the two brothers-- or another target, IN its place it caused a short range teleportation.

Kagesumi soon appeared in the second proximity of his brother. He struck with his scythes-- but all it did was scratch the surface of the wolf's fur. His body was too tough for a conventional physical blow. He now held the smoke bomb that his brother had, and saw the second tail about to crash down on him. It was then he used it-- and vanished in a mess of smoke.

Smoke and diversion were becoming a theme as Houkou couldn't see and probably not even smell with so much of it. But it barely got the two brothers out of the wolf's clutches. Just in time.

Asura hopped back. He hated how smart this wolf was already. "Already attacking my buddies. Not cool," he said to himself as he focused. He hated to think the two brothers were so outmatched, but every second counted.

He found another hiding place behind another root of the tree while Houkou was distracted by the cats. Focusing again, he concentrated on the seals in his body-- a particular one that would make his attack a sure-hit. As he focused-- markings appeared that were once invisible. It soon took shape as Asura's forehead grew a symbol of an eye. He hated to resort this, but if he missed his opportunity, he wouldn't get a second chance. He had to even the playing field.

"Omni seal-- Release..." A sudden surge of chakra released, something that made his mind extend further. It was if he activated his Tengan but even stronger. ALl his senses seemed to expand, so much it was right he was right next to the fight.

"Just hang in there a little more, guys. Please...." Asura prayed for his two cat friends.


The two cats were still on the run-- but even so they were not dumb as they had their own set of skills. With smoke bomb in hand, Chigatsumi soon threw another-- this time directed right at the wolf's face. The resulting explosion of smoke was designed to disorientate the wolf, lowering its reflexes and masking their positions.

And just in case that didn't work, Kagetsumi moved in with a small projectile he flicked like a stone across a lake. The small ball shot through the smoke labed 'LIGHT" on it in kanji. Just as the wolf would see it--- it erupted in a bright flash. A flash bomb, illuminating the inside of the tree and potentially blinding the big, bad wolf.

Hopefully they would keep Houkou busy but... if the Omni Seal was so potent-- the seal given to him from someone on par with the Sage of Six paths, could Houkou sense it?

Chigatsumi - Attack

Every bit of the battle was starting to cause Gobi to become rather annoyed. It landed on the branch after completing its attack, but witness the two felines had vanished. Soon one would appear coming down striking at the body but doing no damage what so ever. Gobi turned its head slowly with its glare once again. Seeing the next attack coming it stood waiting only to vanish with a spark having a strange clone of electricity appear jumping at the attacking.

The Gobi would appear glancing over at the battlefield shaking its head. Before long it mutter under its breath, ”This battle is starting to become a bore…” It turned its attention over to the one that was struck by the lightning phantom.  Jumping upwards it brought its powerful tails down on it once more then turned to swing them at the other feline. ”That was for trying to blind me you weakling.”
