Flame of Wisdom (Supply and training)

The calm wind of Take lightly moved through the trees and forest of the land. The rushing rivers and waterfall cascaded and played music through the terrain. It was a peaceful, beautiful land. Home to many wonders of nature. Though not one of the five great nations, it was one of the few nations that held its own brand of shinobi and those that had inherited great skill.

For the time being, the place was a part of grand hills, a wide forest and mountains all around. It was all peaceful--

-- till a sudden shredding sound echoed in the air. It was followed by a rip in space, as if a beast had clawed open the sky. From the swirling cloud of the inside the tear, a figure fell through. He landed with a low crouch onto the grass with a huff and the tear in space disappeared. As the rift vanished, the sounds of birds and air filled his ears. "Huh, so this is Taki. Waterfall country. Not bad' he said with amusement, his red hair wafting in the breeze. As he admired the location, he soon found a small village at the foot of the hill.

He still had to be cautious, but he soon realized he had to resupply and get ready. Any form of risk would be bad, especially if Iwa and any bounty hunters knew he was nearby... but the chance was worth it. If he was going to find his target-- his new ally, he had to risk it. And it was a race against the clock.

Swallowing his concern, he proceeded to the town to resupply.

The trip to the town was not so bad. Hardly anyone batted an eye as he gathered some materials he needed. Some water, food, smoke bombs and other tools to make his trip easier. But he needed more than that.

Finding a small grove of trees, Asura had his gear and tools out before him, he sat crosslegged on the grass. He looked upon the series of scrolls before him-- to him it was legends, but also a map. The scrolls of info told him one thing. The target he wished to find... was a tailed beast.

The legendary one among even the 9 tails. A powerful 5 tailed creature, one with mastery over the elements. To become allies with such a creature would be a great prize for Asura and help him in his goals. But such a creature wouldn't be easy to convince, or even fend against if it decided to get violent.

For that, he needed to prepare for a hard battle. Even one harder since he fought the cardinals or even Mantan himself.

Before him lied a series of scrolls-- one he just finished as he placed his hand on it-- and a jutsu formula formed inside it. A summoning scroll he had planned to make, that with another summoning jutsu just in case. It would save him chakra for later.

As he rolled back up the scroll, he stashed it into his pack and looked over the last piece of information-- the legend of the 5 tailed beast.

The truth was, his old acquaintance, Hayabusa seemed to have powers similar to 5 tails. But that was a long time ago. Much had changed. But he seemed to recall how he was able to negate his katon attacks, Even his strongest form of jutsu. It made him realize somthing. The tailed beast was very similar to that.

And that meant even his inferno style, the fire he worked years to obtain-- would be useless against him.

It was then he realized what he had to do. "It seems Master Ravana's Taijutsu training might actually pay off. I should treat him to a drink when this is over... if i survive"he commented.

With a final meditation, Asura stood up with his new gear and scrolls in hand. If he read the legend right, the five tails home was a large tree that towered over the waterfall territory. A part of him was scared... but he knew he could at least face it. He wouldn't let fear stop him now. Even alone, he couldn't pass up this chance.

His eyes narrowed with determination-- and he ran off to meet the 5 tails.
