Inshitsu watched the people walk by from on top of the general store. He had little to do since Kin had made him visit the hospital in his stupor. Inshitsu had climbed to the top of the general store to avoid having to walk all the way back to his house which was farther than every other thing Inshitsu could have thought of. Inshitsu had watched the sun slowly shift across the sky until it rose to be right above him. He felt his body slowly relax with the heat, baking the knots in his muscles. Inshitsu rose to his feet to descend to the ground, but an idea drifted to the surface of his thoughts. He grinned at the thought of doing what his idea was. Inshitsu walked to the edge of the roof, and turned around to start facing another building touching the one he was on. Inshitsu sprinted at the building, and jumped the gap that was between them, grabbing the ledge of the roof. Inshitsu’s arms started to shake as he struggled to pull himself onto the roof. He managed to pull himself up after struggling for a couple of minutes. When he got on top of the building, Inshitsu looked around for something else to jump onto. His eyes locked on to an open window that had a clothesline connected at the base of it. Inshitsu silently braced himself as he stepped over to the start of the clothesline. Inshitsu took a deep breath, and placed one foot slowly on to the clothesline to test its strength. The clothesline held even after he shifted all of his weight on to it. Inshitsu removed his other foot from the sturdy roof, and had a panic attack as the clothesline started to shift from side to side. Inshitsu placed his other foot on to the line and started to walk quickly, regretting his decision to attempt this. Inshitsu was about three quarters of the way across it when his feet started to cramp. Rushing himself, he took one more step on the line before he jumped off the line into the open window in front of him. His left foot got caught on the window’s base and caused him to roll on the floor on the other side of the window. Inshitsu’s small break now cost him an injured shoulder and a cramped foot. Sighing to himself, Inshitsu pushed himself up and started to navigate the building he entered to find an exit.
