A solemn wind came over the grassy plains on the vast plot of land. Birds and animals alike basked in the sun’s rays as she ascended to her place in the heavens. A boy sat up right and gazed at the nature around him. He was small child around the age of thirteen with spikey brown hair and auburn colored eyes.
“Oh, Yukimura, are you not going to join your team today”
A voice called out from behind the child. The boy turned around to notice a tan skinned man with short black hair and a scar across his left check. He was clearly much older though no more older than 23. His smile and demeanor colored him playful and joyful, although something about his presence commanded respect. Yukimura, realizing who was standing behind him, leaped up and bowed.
“Sensei Minoru, what’s going on today?” He asked as if he’d forgotten what today was. Minoru’s smile vanished and he gave a disappointed stare towards Yukimura.
“Yukimura, You know exactly what today was. Today is the day you’re suppose to be doing the second half of the Genin Test. Why are you out here?” He asked. Yukimura began to grow red in the face and turned around.
“Sensei… is it true that only two people pass the test?” Yukimura asked solemnly. It was clear what was bothering Yukimura. Rumors of the Genin test and his ninja credentials were on the line. It was a common fear for most academy students. Minoru stepped forward and stood next to Yukimura. He placed his hand on Yukimura’s head and smiled a bit.
“You’ll find a way to beat this. I know you will.” Minoru replied confidently.
The Genin test among the leaf village was well known and well popularized. At the academy was a written demonstration and on the field was a practical test with a Jounin, or senior officer such as Minoru Mizuki. Although each practical test were different, it was well known that only 3 teams in total were to pass. Others were sent back to the academy while others were forced to quit their dreams as ninja.
Sanada Yukimura was put into a team with Hyuuga Mei-Lee, and Satomi Satoshi.

Mei-Lee was one of the classmates of Yukimura and an honorable member of the main branch of the Hyuuga clan. With long white hair and cold grey eyes, she was known as the white tiger of the Leaf. More notable, she was a natural genius compared to the monkey clown Yukimura. She’d mastered skills relatively easy compared to Yukimura and was easily the top of the class.

Though not your top of the line classmate, Tokuzen was your average ninja with a care free spirit. He was darker than most of the leaf ninja, with extremely brown eyes and hair. Though his body was defined and well ripped. He was most likely the poster boy for the leaf village with a common known positive outlook on life and the will to keep going at all time.
It would be during this test that Yukimura would be forced to work together while at the same time competing with his peers for a Genin spot. They stood on the training field looking at the clock. Once the hour hit 9 A.M Minoru Mizuki appeared on the field dressed in all black with a book in his hand. He waved at the kids with his carefree attitude.
“YO!” He said quick and briefly. He raised two small bells attacked to just as thin red strings.
“The test is simple. You grab these bells and I will grant you a Genin Headband and you pass the test. Whoever does not grab the bells fails and must give up as a ninja forever.”
Yukimura stepped forward but was paralyzed with fear after that. He couldn’t imagine not being a ninja. Both his parents were great ninjas influential in the great ninja wars. The Sanada clan was just beginning to make a name for itself and how this?
“Also, You have till 7 P.M to take the bells. If by 7 none of you have managed to grab a bell, You’ll all be forced out of the ninja program” Minoru commanded.
The trio stood in shock as the listened to the task before them. They were so young but being faced with so much so early. It was a monumental task.
“Any questions?” Minoru asked.
“What can we use to get to the bells?” Tokuzen asked brightly. He seemed unfazed by the stern instructions.
“Anything Your mind can think of. You can’t hurt me” Minoru said with confidence. Tokuzen grinned at the challenge as he reached for his pouch. Though his hand in there he didn’t draw any weapon yet.
“If that’s all, Begin!” Minoru Yelled.
Instantly Yukimura and Arashi began to charge at Minoru to launch a physical assault. Tokuzen grabbed 3 kunai knives and launched them between Arashi and Yukimura, he would then proceed to follow the charge.
“Shinobi Tactics #1: Taijutsu” Minoru said cringing.
He launched himself up in the air avoiding both the projectiles and the onslaught of the children. On his trip down he launched his right fist and aimed it for Tokuzen who seemed to be the more skilled of the trio. Yukimura noticed the attack incoming and grabbed the jacket of Tokuzen to not only pull Him out the way, but to reposition himself away from the damage. Arashi was the most clear from the damage so she decided to counter with kick to the stomach area. Upon missing his initial target he dodged the kick from Arashi and landed on a stump a few meters away from the students.
“We’re not going to beat him individually.” Yukimura said. He’d known a little bit of Minoru’s abilities being that he’d train with him for quite some time.
“So what now?” Arashi asked impatiently as she kept her eyes focus on Minoru.
“If We work as a team, we can at least pick on of the bells.” Yukimura said. “I have an idea. But give me time to read his movements”
The trio nodded as they all returned to Minoru who’d now begin to yawn. All three launched themselves towards him and began to hit him with a barrage of punches and kicks. Minoru being the senior class ninja that he was easily dodged all the attacks without letting one come to him. All the while Yukimura studied his motions. At one point Minoru ducked three of their punches and was simultaneously met with the knee of Yukimura. Minoru was forced to take the hit and sent flying back quite a few feet.
“We hit him!” Arashi said in excitement.
“You hit me” Minoru said quietly. He studied Yukimura who was breathing a bit more heavily than before and smiled. It seemed all their training had begun to pay off.
“I suppose I can’t take you three for a joke anymore” He continued to mutter.
In a flash of a second he disappeared and then reappeared behind the children. A bit instinctively Tokuzen reacted and set himself up to take punch that was now being drawn by Minoru. Arashi placed her hands together and instantly a current of wind came between The trio and Minoru.
“You know Wind jutsu?” All three boys on the field said in unison towards Arashi. Her face grew red and she said nothing only turning her head in embarrassment.
“Shinobi Tactics #2 Ninjutsu” Minoru shouted from a distance.
Minoru would begin to place his hands together and form a string of hand seals. The trio began to move towards him each forming their own hand seal. Minoru was quite stunned that all three of them knew ninjutsu already at such an early age. Clearly the three in front of him weren’t normal children. Still He was a senior officer.
“TOKUZEN! YOU FIRST!” Yukimura shouted.
“TO LATE!” Minoru replied as a large river of mud began to form in front of him. But to Minoru’s surprise a medium size slab of rock appeared in front of them.
“Arashi!!!!!” Yukimura yelled. Instantly Yukimura was hurled above the rock.
“That synergy” Minoru said with a smile as he watch come down with a rockfist.
Now:
Senju Heise walked into a local bar at 8 p.m when then sun had finally set. Summer was still in affect so the suns decent, especially in the mountains, wasn’t uncommon. What was uncommon was the fact that Heise wore a cloak in the middle of summer. On the back of the cloak was a symbol of a tribal monkey. He sat directly in front of the bar.
“I’m looking for someone” He said as he placed some cash on the table. The bartender turned around and looked at the money on the table then at Heise. He grabbed the money and then turned and put it in a drawer.
“What can I get you drink?” The bartender said with a raspy voice.
