Inshitsu took in a deep breath of the fresh, and sweet nature scene. Inshitsu had to take a break from overlooking the construction of his first village; the workers weren’t exactly geniuses. He deciding on taking a walk through the forest that was within his country. He knew that he wouldn’t be interrupted by anyone since even on the way here he had only seen one person throughout his stroll in the countryside. However, while he still didn’t have a single person in sight, he saw an interesting formation of boulders. Inshitsu tilted his head at the seemingly normal rocky mound. Walking over towards it, he noticed a dark crack in between two of the boulders.

Inshitsu attempted to peek inside of the dark crack with the sunlight to brighten it up. Yet, he was unable to spot anything within the rocks. Inshitsu looked around, scanning the treeline for anyone whom may have been watching. Seeing no one, Inshitsu stuck his hands into the crack and started to pull backwards on one of the rocks in front of the crack. The rock was remarkably light and broke away from the formation within a couple of seconds. Something is definitely off about this. Turning away from the rock that he had pulled out, Inshitsu stuck his head inside of the unearthed hole.

The hole appeared to be just a covered cave. Inshitsu walked inside of the cave, watching the ground intently to make sure that he didn’t step on to something that could have killed him. Inshitsu came to the end of the cave. All that was at the end appeared to be a flat stone wall. This one, however, didn’t have any cracks to allow Inshitsu to pull it; that was, if it was indeed another wall that was there. “Well, I guess I’ll turn around and go back...Sike!” Inshitsu activated his Shuuraigan and reexamined the stone in front of him. Inshitsu could see that there were grooves where the stone had to slide in. Inshitsu grabbed tightly onto the stone boulder and started to walk backwards to pull it out of its resting spot.

Inshitsu was almost surprised to find that the rock was an actual rock that was simply carved to fit. Inshitsu sidestepped as he watched the boulder topple over from the lack of any support. Inshitsu gazed inside of this new hole that he had discovered. Inside was a underground library. It was dimly lit from torches that were only embers due to the lack of new fuel. Inshitsu walked inside, dazed by awe of the new found place. Inshitsu walked over to one of the shelfs. Attempting to pick up one of the books proved impossible as it crumbled to ashes as soon as he touched it.

Inshitsu stared at the ashes that remained in his hand. What the h**l happened here? And what is here even!? Inshitsu broke his trance of amazement and started to examine the library much closer. The shelves looked untouched from any serious damage other than being burnt. The books are nothing but ashes. Inshitsu walked around the outer edge of the library. He noticed that there were even more destroyed books and a door that was untouched by the scorched room. Inshitsu realized that there was no much else to do except explore the whole place. Inshitsu opened the door, and climbed the staircase that was inside of it. Inshitsu realized that the staircase led away from the library into what seemed to be an kitchen of some sort.

Inshitsu was now curious and, admittedly, kinda scared. Who was here? Inshitsu realized his questions may never be answered but he still couldn’t help but wonder at what was in front of him. He noticed an untouched piece of paper on the counter of the kitchen. Walking over to the piece of paper, Inshitsu noticed that it was also untouched by the events of the library. Inshitsu picked it up and started to scan it quickly. Those b******s won’t find out about us. Never! It’s a shame I have to do this, but I’’m pinned. I’ll burn the library, I have to. Those paid bandits will never get a hold on us. I won’t win this, but we will. The rest of the writing was practically scribbles in Inshitsu’s eyes. Inshitsu stuffed the paper into one of the cabinets and kept on exploring the underground base, now knowing the intent behind the library’s destruction.

Inshitsu stopped in what seemed to be the person’s resting room. There were two blankets, one on top of another to replicate a bed. There was also a cabinet sitting on the opposite side of the bedroom. Inshitsu walked over to the blankets and stirred them in attempt to find anything that may have been left behind by the person. Leaving the blankets in a pile, Inshitsu walked over to the cabinet. Inshitsu stared at it for a second. “Bet myself a thousand ryou...” Inshitsu grabbed the sides of the cabinet and threw onto its side. The crash was certainly loud. Inshitsu waited without moving to keep the silence going in order to hear any movement or sound. Inshitsu heard the sound of the air wafting by, but he also hear quiet footsteps.

The footsteps seemed to become more and more faded as the thing got closer to Inshitsu. Inshitsu couldn’t help but find them familiar even as they came dangerously close to silent. Nothing. Only the sound of Inshitsu’s breathing was left in his area. Inshitsu slipped silently over to the entrance of the room. Detaching the Masamune’s sheath from his holster, he got ready to swing towards his visitor’s throat. Turning the corner, Inshitsu started to swing as the foot became visible. Inshitsu’s swing was blocked by the swing of the visitor. Inshitsu looked dead into the eyes of the visitor.

“Kin, why do you have to be so, protective?” Inshitsu let his weapon drop back to his side as he confirmed the person’s identity. “I don’t know, maybe because this is your land; Not sure about you, but I rather you not be killed by your own stupidity.” Kin’s weapon was still held tightly in her hand. “That was rather cruel. You don’t see me saving you from your stupidity, after all, you’re my master.” Kin’s confused look caused Inshitsu to reconsider his position on his argument. Inshitsu spoke to Kin, “What?” Kin looked almost embarrassed, “I forgot you weren’t in Hikari.” Inshitsu held his hand up, “Let’s talk about this later okay?” Kin’s face quickly switched to one of relief, “Yeah. Good idea.”

Inshitsu replaced his sheath back onto his holster. Inshitsu couldn’t help but worry about Kin’s strange behavior. Keeping his idea just in case, Inshitsu pointed back towards the way that Kin had came, “How did you know that I was even close to here?” Kin looked nervous again, but this time Inshitsu wasn’t feeling the same. “Can we talk about it another time?” Kin’s hand started to slowly sink towards her weapon. Bad time. Inshitsu pulled his hands up and performed his Wave of Inspiration, tasing the imposter of Kin. Inshitsu walked over to the spasming person on the floor of the cave, looking down with distaste.
